Job Description

1. Perform routine maintenance.
2. Manage housekeeping, health and safety of all assigned projects
3. Monitor the Schedule routine inspections and as-needed repairs on all assigned projects.
4. Write reports on inspections, maintenance, repairs, safety and other relevant operations activities.
5. Plans, organizes, maintains, and manages the operations and reliability of all facilities assigned.
6. Establishes and monitors preventative maintenance processes and programs and facility inspection processes.
7. Supervise administrative services skilled and technical/support staff. Hire, evaluate, train, discipline and recommend dismissal of staff as necessary.
8. Develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures, and processes for
9. Administer procurement, quotes, vendor management and inventory.
10. Trouble-shoots and responds to during and after-hour issues as needed regarding the operational aspects of the facilities.
11. Monitors and oversees the work of external contractors to ensure terms of agreements are met and work is completed satisfactorily.


HND or Bachelor’s Degree Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Administration or a related building construction field. (Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement)

Minimum of (5) Five years’ cognitive work experience is required.

Knowledge and Sills required are:

  • Managerial and Supervisory skills.

  • Facilities maintenance, grounds and custodial principles and practices.

  • Contract management principles and practices.

  • Project management principles.

  • Preventative maintenance principles and practices.

  • Industry Best Practices.

  • Continuous Quality Improvement Principles.

  • Sustainability in Facilities Management and maintaining currency in sustainable practices.
